AES, a Fortune 500 global energy company operating in 14 countries, needed to unify 10+ global websites into an adaptable digital ecosystem that reflects its global impact while meeting local needs.

My role focused on creating a cohesive user experience through clear information architecture, intuitive user journeys, and a modern design system tailored to diverse audiences, including investors, customers, partners, and talent.

The Fragmented Web Experience

AES’s digital presence was fragmented across 18 country-level websites, each with different navigation, content structures, and visual styles. This created challenges for both users and internal teams:
  • Investors and customers struggled to find consistent information.
  • Regional teams lacked adaptable design standards.
  • The global brand’s impact was weakened by disjointed digital experiences.

Developed low-fidelity wireframes to map page hierarchies, navigation flows, and content priorities, ensuring early alignment.
